I have had a few takeaways recently there I’ve thought ‘meh’. Tried Harley’s tonight and it was fantastic. Food was hot. Kebab wasn’t greasy. And the chicken had a Smokey flavor that was superb. Thoroughly recommended. View all feedback.
What 390richies doesn't like about Harley`s Pizza:
I recently decided to try Harleys Pizza because we were really craving pizza. I spent £32 and ended up with two disappointing 12-inch pizzas. Despite having pizza in the name, the quality of the pizzas was far from decent. In fact, I can confidently say that it was the worst pizza I have ever had. Despite having pizza in the name, the quality of the pizzas was far from decent. In fact, I can confidently say that it was the worst pizza I have ever had. The taste of the pizzas resembled burnt cheese on toast, as if the guy in the shop had simply grated a block of cheap cheese and tossed it on the pizza. Additionally, the base was unpleasant, resembling stale brown bread. I would not go back to this restaurant and I would recommend others to avoid it as well.
We ordered at 7:30pm after chasing twice the food turned at 9:15pm... dry and warm at best.... We had planned a special evening with friends we hadn’t seen for a meal for a while and the whole thing was ruined with such poor service, food and the one and three quarter hour wait!!! We were literally around the corner 400 metres away.... yes we should have walked! But why walk when deliver option is there for you... Will never ever go there again!!!
We always enjoy ordering food from this restaurant regularly. The service is excellent too. The delivery is consistently good and the food always arrives warm.
I live around the corner from this takeaway and now I know why I never used it , the burgers where rock hard the service in there is horrendous , the old guy is nothing but rude and considering it is always quiet you would think they would treat the actual customers they do have better !! It is reasonably priced however the service would put me off ever going back !!!! Sort it out ! 5 way grills is the way forward in that area or the chippy!!
My boyfriend and I ordered from here earlier. He got a pizza which he said was delicious, and I chose a veggie burger which was also really tasty. Really good sized portions of chips and great sides. It's all very reasonably priced too, tastes fresh, was ready quickly and nice and hot. The staff are really friendly and cheerful. Recommend this place to all :
