I hadn't been here in years, and under new ownership, the interior still looks and feels the same. While we were there, they had a live band playing. A thirst... View all feedback.
It was packed on a Thursday night. Live music, and great service. It is noisy, so it may be hard to carry a conversation with those at your table, but that’s just the atmosphere. The food was great! Expect to spend $50-$60 per plate, but well worth it.
Always saw this place but never went. We wanted to go to 2 New Balance stores nearby so we went to Stockyard first for late lunch. Boom! This place was OG. We didn't go all out as we had dinner party later. My date had full rack baby back ribs and I had special of the day ribeye. I liked that both dishes came with nice sides. Ribs came with fries and veggies. Steak came with broccoli and mashed potatoes. We skipped desserts but next time we will try the tomahawk and some sweets!
We were craving for traditional American Steak House food. We see this restaurant all the time when driving on I90. We did our home work and read the review and put it on must visit list. Today we had to go to Allston so it was perfect chance pay the Stockyard a visit. The space is huge with a few private rooms, private nooks, huge bar, high tables, and alfresco dinning. The restaurant was busy even at 2 pm on Saturday afternoon. Our server was very cheerful and courteous. We placed our order of ribeye steak and babyback ribs and she brought us a warm bread basket with butter. The food take just decent amount of time to come out. The portion was great and both dishes were so good. We really like our food and they were value for money. We will definitely come here again when steak craving strike. I think I prefer steak here than some famous fancy high end steak restaurant.
I highly recommend this restaurant! We ordered the French onion soup, tuna tartare, lump crab cake, steak tips, the prime rib (available on Saturdays), and the lobster pie. I recommend all of these dishes. The price of the prime rib seemed a bit steep, but the portion was huge! More importantly, it was delicious, full of rich flavor, and very tender. The tuna tartare was incredibly fresh, and I loved the texture of the diced raw tuna. The guacamole at the bottom was nice and creamy. If I get the chance to come back, I’ll definitely try other items on the menu. If I were to invite friends out for dinner, I would order the same dishes because I know they were fantastic!
Amazing steakhouse with fantastic service! I had the pleasure of being served by Olivia, who was outstanding—always one step ahead and extremely quick. The restaurant boasts a wonderful atmosphere, and the espresso martini is a must-try. I had the French onion soup, steak tips, and a side of creamed spinach. I enjoyed everything!
