This is a lovely café and bakery with exceptional service and high-quality food. They offer freshly baked bread, rolls, pastries, and buns every day. While it is on the pricier side, it's still a great value considering the quality compared to other places in Brighton. The café is located slightly away from the center, which means you can usually find a seat easily. With outdoor seating available on a relatively quiet stretch, you can enjoy your lunch in the sunshine. It's situated at the Five Ways crossing, surrounded by charming small shops, making it worth a trip from the city center for a visit and lunch. Plus, it's just a short walk from the hills and forests, perfect for a stroll before or after your meal.
I really love the new spacious layout, which feels very light and airy. The coffee and food are delicious, made from incredibly high-quality ingredients. I especially enjoyed the granola dish and the sourdough toast. The service was friendly and attentive as well.
Really love the ease of decor at the venue it works really well, the copper pipe finishing is simply stunning. the staff are very friendly and friendly and quick to check that they have ordered and everything is in order. the food was nice, we decided to fried eggs on sourded and dice eggs on sourdough, both were cooked nicely. the coffee is also really nice. would recommend and will soon be back.
Beautiful place for a sandwich and coffee. the roasted sandwich of chicken, chorizo and cheese is particularly recommended. I also had a glass of freshly squeezed orange juice, which was beautiful and good for the size. a very pleasant way to spend an hour or so. would recommend.
I was happy to see that The Flour Pot has expanded their 5 Ways location to include a spacious seating area. However, I found the lighting to be quite harsh, especially for those who are sensitive to brightness. I really wish businesses would take sensory needs into account when designing their interiors. Aside from that, everything was fine. If you are light sensitive and prefer to avoid glaring lights, I recommend steering clear of the seating area. The coffee was good, but it took a while to be served. I don't quite understand why one barista is responsible for both making and serving the coffee. They could certainly pick up the pace!
