What Orpenitin likes about Mock Turtle:
Came for breakfast with the family. Food was very good nice fresh bread and well cooked. Between the four of us we covered beans on toast to a full breakfast and all were good along with the coffee. Service a little slow. View all feedback. What N3312AEdeborahj doesn't like about Mock Turtle:
Toilet is dirty, cobwebs on lights above cakes. Rock cake was hard and dry and stale sent it back . Pot of tea for 2 was £6.50 rip off place well past it’s sell by date View all feedback.

read moreThis traditional British tea cafe in Brighton has been a longtime favorite for many, offering a wide range of pastries and delicious food options. Despite some mixed reviews regarding the cleanliness of the toilets and the freshness of the cakes, the overall experience seems to be positive for most visitors. The tea room is known for its old-fashioned charm, excellent tea selection, and mouthwatering cakes. Customers particularly enjoy the cream tea and scones, with one group of friends even dubbing it the best cream tea in Brighton. The friendly staff and pleasant service add to the charm of this classic establishment, making it a must-visit for tea lovers and cake enthusiasts alike.
Americans wanting to try afternoon tea so we stopped inGood service and generous portionsWe could only finish one scone each.
Such a cute little tea room, very walkable to the pier! The aesthetic of this place is VERY instagram-worthy.
If I'm looking for a place based on tea and atmosphere, I love to bring friends here.
