Was Genziana Morelli at Monte-Leone a mag?
The Monte Leone Hotel restaurant at the Simplon Pass is where most, if not all, tourist coaches stop to allow passengers to have a break before the onward journey to Switzerland. As expected hot drinks are expensive in this restaurant. We paid €8 for 2...medium cups of tea which were served in plastic cups! We didn’t eat any food so can’t comment on that. I just ate. I've never seen such a flattened carving. more panier flour than carving. pommes were too salty and the carrots were not cooked. Pity

On a multi-day motorcycle tour through Switzerland we made a stop in the monte leone on the simplon pass. at the entrance hangs a plump murmeltier which whips on any movement. this has nothing to do with the rating directly, but the nerve factor of the whistle was still so the i-tap...We are sitting in the restaurant, on walliser floor, with magnificent view of the breathtaking panorama and everywhere in the restaurant hang the a4 note on fondue, 28.- p.p.... good, the price is proud, but no matter the excellent taste. fondue ordered and the fiasko started. brot was delivered shortly after, of course completely dry. the fondue was on the table shortly later. on the first look it did not look hot and also was very little cheese in caquelon for 2 people. the fire from the rechaud had already been extinguished after a few seconds and the staff had already disappeared again. 1x transversal through the restaurant service search new rechaud ordered, rechaud delivered. good, it can go on. not long, after 30 seconds, the second was empty. now slightly grained again across the restaurant, service search, new rechaud. the fondue was now quite cold, so look again service, give fondue back to the kitchen to heat up. fondue back, rechaud runs. we were able to deal with the fondue for the first time. cheese mixture was a ready mix of grain and it was certainly only 1 and not 2 portions cheese. when we have addressed the personal it has been pretty irritated to us that it was 500g fondue. we were speechless about this miserable service and read out this abscension pub on the fastest way. We will never see them here anymore!This was a very bad experience and we do not wonder, the tourism in Switzerland sometimes has a bad call. the hotel restaurant leone contributes to it.

Thick turpin is the famous highway robber in mount leone living and well living. No matter how desperate they avoid this device to all cost. the personal is arrogant and superfluous. we went to order fondue there were 4 of us, 2...adults and 2 children) we realized within 1 minute of ordering the fondue that it could consume per person 28 chf, 112 chf for all 4) despite note that the children could not possibly consume an adult part of the fondues, the claim to reduce it to 2 he refused from the waitress, we then spoke but ten minutes in fondue they accepted their childish and medium-spiritual behavior and produced dose plates and a fork. a device that uses every opportunity to push as much money as possible from unintentional travelers no matter how desperate they move to the next restaurant, hopefully it will be managed Swiss.

Sat-down and menu was very expensive and other eating did not look good. left but stopped in the toilet room. at the exit were two waiters there, who said, as I had not eaten, I had to pay 1 franc or euro. I had nothing in my purse, which I showed and said I'm gonna get it from my car that I wanted full. the waitress said from the door: “Ah I see, they do not want to pay.” After some words between her and my friend we have just left and for obvious reasons have changed our thoughts about leaving. you feel that people are cheating on you at the moment you enter.
