What Karen Soper doesn't like about Olive Tree:
The service was unfriendly and unhelpful. The atmosphere was decent, but the loud music from the kitchen was disruptive. The restaurant could use some improvements. However, the food was mostly good, except for the tasteless sauce on the linguine de mar. The fish was cooked well. I used a finger bowl for my starter of mussels and was asked to reuse it for my main course, which I found unhygienic. It is just a bowl of... View all feedback.
We had a wonderful dining experience at this restaurant. The vegetarian options were fantastic and we were fortunate to secure a private room. The ambiance was great, although the downstairs restaurant was a bit small so it's best to make a reservation ahead of time. The service was good, with a rating of 4 out of 5. The price per person ranged from £20–30. The food was exceptional, earning a rating of 5 out of 5, and we highly recommend trying the Seafood Spectacular dish.
Simon and his team provide excellent service at this restaurant. The food is incredible, especially the pepperoni pizza and carbonara. I highly recommend this place. The atmosphere is also top-notch. 5-star rating for both food and service. dine-in experience for dinner. Everyone at the restaurant deserves praise for their brilliance.
It is just a bowl of water with lemon - they should change it. We would not return. There is a paid car park opposite the restaurant, but it was full when we arrived due to market day. Perhaps on another day, there would be free parking available.
Party of 10 all ordered but had to wait while phones being answered had to ask for menus. One of the party did not receive their starter by the time we could get a member of staffs attention most had finished although order was cancelled they sent out and slammed plate in front of the party. Mains arrived 1 missing waited a long time attempts by staff to hide fact they had forgotten. A pet hate why serve hot food on cold plates ? A little more customer care and attention would have been appreciated as some of us felt ignored, not made to feel welcome and no one checked to make sure Happy with food etc
Loved this place. Want to go back. Probably am biased as I love fish too. Service: Dine in Price per person: £40–50 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
