At Portman's, you can expect nothing but the freshest meats, sliced right before you using Boar's Head products. Their vegetables are always crisp and cold, as if they've just been picked from the field. My personal favorite is the Italian Grinder — bursting with flavor and more food than even I can handle in one sitting. But the offerings don’t stop at sandwiches and deli items; they also do a lot of baking! From breads (including your sandwich roll) to pies, cakes, and cookies, everything is made fresh daily. Plus, there's a small grocery section featuring fresh fruits and vegetables, as well as locally made jams and jellies. And let’s not forget the homemade soups — they are absolutely delicious. Portman's is the kind of business you want to support. Here, your money goes to a family that has been dedicated to serving the community for nearly a hundred years, alongside a hardworking and incredibly friendly staff. You can really sense the pride and joy the employees take in their work. With fair and honest prices, the freshest ingredients, and a welcoming atmosphere, Portman's has it all. It’s been my favorite lunch spot for nearly 20 years, and I know I'll keep coming back. Check it out — you won’t be disappointed!

I am quickly making this place one of my go-to spots. The sandwiches are excellent, particularly the daily specials. The Reuben on Wednesdays and the Cajun chicken panini are both wonderful. The deli is well-stocked, and don't overlook the sides—they're fantastic too!

This restaurant offers fantastic hot sandwiches from 11 AM to 1 PM. Be sure to check their website for the schedule of different sandwich options. They also have a variety of deli items made fresh on-site. Overall, it's a charming little shop with everything from cookies to soup. It's definitely one of my favorite places in Bridgeville!

Nice little privately owned deli/market/bakery.???? Fresh deli meats, sandwiches and baked goods. Also some other basic grocery needs. I personally have had a Jewett sandwich with corned beef and horseradish cheese on rye multiple times. Has been very good each time. They also have multiple other sandwiches available to order. If you are looking for a nice local choice, off the beaten path in the South Hills of Pittsburgh, this is a great option.
