Ragamuffins Bar Restaurant - Bridgetown

My wife and I were looking for a place to eat the first night of our honeymoon. Around Holetown, a strange new place in our first experience in a foreign country, we met a friendly man who, when we said, we were looking for an authentic Bajan cuisine, recommended Ragamuffins to us, just to discuss that he was the owner of the restaurant! Well, his recommendation didn't fall flat as we had as good as a meal (if not better) than we at the famous Tides restaurant down on the street a few nights later. Anyway, if you are near Holetown looking for freshly caught Bajan fish, do not see further this place is for real.

Nice casual food. Doesn't have the need to dress up. We really enjoyed the meal. Rumstick was good. We went a little early so it wasn't crowded. It is definitely worth a meal. We parked on the LimeGrove.

The food is real and right. Go around the corner and swim in the beach .. there is a reason why he here is more than 20 years. Large staff

We really enjoyed this restaurant. It offers honest meals at reasonable prices for the area, along with a relaxed atmosphere and friendly staff. There’s no pretentiousness here—just good, tasty dishes.

I started with the blackened shrimp and had the jerk chicken for my main course, while my partner chose the fish cakes and blackened fish. I found the jerk chicken to be very flavorful, but my partner was disappointed with her portion size and the overall taste of her meal. Our main concerns were the outdated presentation and the exorbitant prices; for a restaurant that feels like a local spot, its prices rival those of an upscale London gastropub. Unfortunately, we won't be returning because I’d like to keep some money in my account by the end of our holiday. On a positive note, I want to mention that the waitress was very helpful and polite—there were no issues in that regard.
