Ordered the tasting paddle. Some we liked, unfortunately some we didn't. Clean tables. Clean toilets. Change table for bubs. There was a kids corner at the back of the restaurant with board games, puzzles and toys. Lovely garden, pond, walk paths and a tree that...the kids could climb. View all feedback.
What Verla Parker doesn't like about Cidery:
A dinner plate for 2 with 5 olives, a small hummous, a small sauerkraut, a small amount of olive oil a slice of cucumber, some greens and small Turkish bread (apparently) $30. Wouldn’t even feed a hamster. Lift your game! View all feedback.
Loved spending the afternoon chatting to some delightful locals in front of the roaring fire at this homely venue.
We came here to do some cider tasting & to have some lunch. The selection of ciders was good, some non-alcoholic too. The rundown on the ciders was very good & provided some insight on how it is brewed etc. Once we decided on which cider to have with our lunch, we sat down and enjoyed a delicious meal. I would recommend the AOC (Apple onion & cheese) tart which was sensational. My husband had a chicken caesar which he said was very good. There were many places for people to sit & eat/drink & the outdoors looked very cosy however it rained during our visit so we didn't venture outside. I imagine it would be very nice sitting outside with friends, drinking lovely cider & listening to music. A great place.
Ordered a tart and veggie lasagne with salads at $26 and $28 respectively.the size of the portions and quality of the food was average at best. Ordered a scrumpy for my girlfriend and the staff advised to try before be bought it because it tasted like apple cider vinegar and undrinkable. The beers were average. So disappointed as we were so looking forward to trying this place. Nice staff just everthing else was average.
We arrived too late for food but that didn't matter because we were impressed with the range of ciders to taste. Knowledgable and very friendly staff who freely gave recommendations of places for us to eat at later. Great vibe. Great ciders and beers. Civilised yet chilled. Families out in the gardens. Highly recommend this one!!
We went with 2 adults to kids on a cold rainy day. Was warm and cosy inside with lots of interesting photos and tidbits to look at. Pretty outlook on to the garden. Food was tasty....a bit more on the rustic side than I like but tasty nonetheless. Good spot for kids.
