Emporium Bistro - Bridgetown

We usually stop in Bridgetown if we're heading south on a road trip, and pop into emporium bistro.

Emporium Bistro is busy all day every day but the service is always friendly, professional & on time. Foood is fantastic- on trend & downright delicious. Whatever you do, save room for the "Duffins"! A sugar coated crunchy outside with a light as a feather inside! Truly wicked but oh so yummy. On the other hand, you could try the churros.......

I ordered fish and chips for lunch, priced at $28. I got 2 pieces of fish (Snapper, I was told) with chips and salad. The fish was just 2 small strips done in very thick batter which made it look a reasonable serving, which it was not. The chips serving was smallish and not real hot and mostly not crisp. The salad was fresh with good ingredients. The wait for food was long but the service polite and well performed. Basically, the meal was way overpriced. My companions were quite happy with their choices but not intended to return.

Went to this restaurant twice during our stay in the area on recommendation. On both occasions the food and service were very good however the prices are a little more than you would expect. Good choices of local wines available

The food here is amazing!!! I have never had a bad meal here!! Highly recommend the Emporium to all!! Always fresh!! Some say it's a tad expensive, I say it's worth every cent!! Always walk out satisfied and feeling like I totally got my monies worth!! Friendly efficient, professional staff, tidy, clean, and more than happy to look after you!! Well done guys!!
