Love this restaurant always and forever they never disappoint me and the flavors are out of this world everything ur taste buds imagine it to be
Love the worker and the food is the best the place is nice and clean and you cannot beat the price
For the past 20 years or so, Ramirez has been my go to place for mofongo but after today I may have to reconsider elsewhere. I ordered the shrimp mofongo, which is my favorite item on the menu. The waitress told me that it comes with a salad and avocado. I received neither. The sauce to mofongo needed a lot of work; it was watery and lacked the usual flavor I 've to come loveabout the sauce. I ate enough to feel somewhat satisfied and left the rest behind. When asked by the waitress how I foundeverything. I told her everything that was not to my liking and yet she responded with Well, it 's always been served that way;we still have the same cook. She was a new face to me mine isn 't to the establishment, so I can see her not knowing muchabout anything. Highly disappointed!!
The food use to be good. New owners not sure if it's a new cook but food made our stomach hurt bad ????

Everything but the tres leches cake was good
I really regretted plac my or in this restaurant apfer eating a little salad my stomach hurts me so much it's shameful these people are no clean and the salad smell bad
I was truly impressed by this restaurant! The home-cooked dishes are executed flawlessly. I really appreciated the attention to detail in wrapping the meat to prevent any pan juices from spilling. I'm also excited that they now offer delivery. The pastelitos (empanadas) are amazing! I even had them catered for a work event, and everyone loved them.
The food is fantastic, and the restaurant is spotless!
The Bacalao Guisado, or Stewed White Cod Fish, had an unpleasantly sour flavor, and the fish was tough. It clearly was not fresh.

The restaurant offers typical Dominican and Puerto Rican dishes of outstanding quality. The service deserves a perfect score of 10. For those coming from South American countries, Ramirez Restaurant is the perfect place to satisfy cravings for food made with native ingredients.
Food is great, staff is friendly and accommodating. The place is pretty small and they had two tvs playing different things and music playing at the same time...making it really hard to enjoy the atmosphere.
There is not enough words to describe the ambiance of this family restaurant. I spent countless visits easting just about every dish they make, I use to come on Fridays and my meal would already be waiting for me sword fish and when I was sick, I would order and pick it up and since I lived out of town they made sure I got my delivery. The service and quality of food has not changed in all these years. I recently had a family member who would be visiting, contact them and prepare an order to be driven to me in SC. I love the people, not just the staff but all who entered and wanted to experience the full family greeting, I miss them, but they remain my favorite place to visit whenever I go back to Bridgeport. You can't miss with this restaurant.
I absolutely love this place! I took my family there for a meal, and we all enjoyed it immensely. The restaurant was clean, including the bathroom, and the service was excellent. I believe in supporting my community and the small entrepreneurs who work tirelessly to compete against giant fast-food chains that offer low-quality food at cheap prices, like McDonald's and others. While the food might be a bit more expensive, it's definitely worth it. They need to make a profit to stay in business. Let's support the businesses in our community that truly deserve it!
