Minards Spaghetti Express - Bridgeport

I ordered the steak hoagie, small antipasto salad, and wedding soup for carry-out to split for lunch. The soup had zero flavor and I realized that it was WATER not broth. I added my own bouillon at home to give it a little flavor, but the chicken still didn’t taste like anything. I also added some veggies to the salad at home because it was lackluster. Won’t be returning.

My friend and I were there for lunch today and were the only customers in the restaurant. We made eye contact with the 2 employees in the kitchen and they never said a word to us. We stood there for almost 20 minutes and were not even acknowledged so we just left.

I don't care for the pasta at the main restaurant so I decided to try something different, a steak hoagie and a salad. Coming in at over $15 it's a little pricier than similar offerings from other eateries. Here's the rub. The hoagie was ok, not much flavor in the meat and it's only an 8 hoagie where most are serving 12 the same price. The salad was worse. At 3.95 it is the smallest side salad I've ever gotten and its only tomatoes and lettuce. The tomatoes were also not ripe. Unfortunately I don't think they changed my mind on this restaurant with the differing order.

I was disappointed with the stuffed shells. We got our order to go and when we got home I was surprised at how small our salads were and the servings of the shells. Was not worth $40.00.
