Swaddesh - Bridgend
Swaddesh
Description
Currymass has garnered a reputation that encapsulates both excellence and disappointment in equal measure. Diners rave about the incredible flavors and generous portions, consistently commending the attentive service and warm atmosphere. However, the takeaway and delivery services have drawn significant criticism for tardiness, cold food, and disappointing quality. While some patrons still hold out hope for improvement, others express frustration over the disparity between media accolades and their personal experiences. As the restaurant evolves, it remains to be seen if they can bridge this gap and satisfy the diverse expectations of their clientele.

This week I was shocked to see the bad publicity that this place has received all over social media I’ve eaten here forever , since the very first mukta mahal , ok I don’t eat Indian often but when I do I use various Indian all around the areas so I can change it up a bit today I ignored the bad publicity and give these guys a chance , I ordered the chicken tikka korai amongst other things and I have to say the curry was by far the nicest curry I have ever eaten from a takeaway_, it was delivered on time piping hot and full of flavour the chicken was great quality and despite the negative criticism I will keep using these when I choose an Indian , I am under the impression that the hygiene inspection includes paperwork in their findings and this probably had an impact the owner of this place is 34 years old he’s giving it a go and ok he’s made a mistake but hopefully people will give him chance to put it right and use it as a learning curve hopefully this business will remain open
I had a wonderful dining experience at this charming restaurant. The food was top-notch, the service was excellent, and the staff were very pleasant. The ambiance was lovely and the restaurant even has its own car park, making it easy to access. It's just a quick 5-minute drive from the M4.
Just excellent. All food beautifully cooked and accompanied by puri and popadoms that were just perfect. Great service. The best Indian Asian in the area
I was in the area and desperate for something to eat, I 'd been to Swaddesh about a year ago and wasn 't impressed.Had it improved ? no ! I 'd have been better off getting a bagette from AsdaI ordered a veg Bhaji...what was Bhajied about it i dont know it was more an excuse to get rid of some left over veggie bits. The Lamb Jamdhani? God it was awful, very runny sauce or gravy which had been spiced up to drown the lamb which was the cheapest cut possible , probably breast, which was over cooked and ad turned into tough gristle, and accompanied by an adequate rice which had bits of chicken in it.I hope the DiL 's cats enjoyed what I leftGo again? dont be silly
Well worth a visit. Three friends met for a meal on Friday evening. I am local and like Indian food but had never visited this establishment before. I have left it far to long to visit. The food was amazing as was the service. Will definitely return the food staff and experience was fantastic.
