At Green Acres, dining experiences appear to vary widely. While some patrons rave about the generous portions and delicious food, others express concern over hygiene and service shortcomings. Complaints regarding overcrowded seating, lack of staff masks, and unsanitary dessert displays create a troubling picture. However, many appreciate the friendly service and value for money, particularly for Sunday lunches. Despite outdated decor and inconsistent meal quality, the restaurant has its loyal fans, eager to return for hearty meals and even enjoy the convenience of an on-site hair and beauty salon. Overall, it’s a mixed bag of experiences waiting to be explored.

Was Anonym at Greenacre a mag?
I am writing this review after finishing my meal and I would like to add to the previous comments. The pub food here was excellent, with large portions and freshly cooked dishes. The staff was friendly and attentive. On a side note, my room was spacious and had a beautiful bathroom with hot water. View all feedback.
What Anonym dislikes about Greenacre:
The restaurant did not practice social distancing, with tables placed too close together. The employees were not wearing masks and were breathing over us as they served our table. The staff was not welcoming or friendly upon arrival or during the meal. The Yorkshire puddings seemed to be straight out of a pre-cooked frozen bag, and they were not cooked properly. It was a very disappointing experience overall. View all feedback.
The food portions at this restaurant were very generous, and the service provided by the staff was excellent. I particularly enjoyed the full breakfast during my stay. The evening meal was delicious and the friendly staff did a great job cooking and serving it.
My friends and I went to this restaurant for Sunday lunch. I am visually impaired and have a guide dog, so we called ahead to let them know the dog would be coming, as we always do as a courtesy. They gave us a great table with plenty of space for the dog, near the bar. The food was delicious and reasonably priced, and the staff were friendly and easy to approach.
I visited this restaurant twice this month, once with my partner and another time as part of a coach trip. The meals were exceptional both times. As a couple, we both enjoyed the braised steak dinner, which was a generous plate with five different vegetables, tender meat, and delicious gravy. The second visit, we had the beef dinner which was just as good, with perfectly cooked vegetables and a large portion of meat. The staff were friendly and accommodating, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The portion sizes were generous and the prices were very reasonable. Overall, a great dining experience that offers excellent value for money.
