I love it here. husband and son enjoyed the penne special with garnel, spicy sausage and huh. I had the pork apron and cherry pepper with kartoffel and sweet. delicious. the next day had the second swallow to dinner. not included in the price per person, but the bourbon fig old fashion was delicious. they also have great hamburger. will be back. I hate to and never do this but I am appalled at the service I received recently on a sunday visit while dining here. We sat in the room with the bar and the waitress was beyond rude and unprofessional. she complained everytime she came over and that was when you could get her attention. Always a good meal for a good price. Rotating specials are always good. Also they have great drink specials.
We had my daughter's bridal shower there a few weeks ago. Helen and her husband run an outstanding restaurant. Their staff is so attentive, the restaurant just so lovely inside, wrapped with a picturesque view out the back and a welcoming porch in the front. The food is authentically Italian, freshly homemade and our very Italian guests are still complimenting the the food from appetizers to dinner selections, and the cake! This is not a cake this is an experience. Not a bit left to take home! Helen was incredible to work with, set the room better than I've seen anywhere, and she responds to you right away. This restaurant was chosen by the matron of honor. I had never been there before. I can not wait to go back for dinner as many times as possible! Thank you Southeast Grille House!! Thank you, Helen! It was a bridal shower that will be fondly remembered by our family friends forever!
