Feedback
Well, this is the first Indian restaurant we haven't liked in a long while. The food was bland (we had asked for spicy and hot). Portions were expensive (circa £8 for a small side dish) and the food was almost pureed. We felt like they made up the prices as we wanted vegetarian and they were more interested in charging than in supplying a good meal. The decor was quite pleasant but we wouldn't go back.
Stumbled upon this place after settling our daughter into her new student house share. Having had a few Indians in France, as we live here, we did not have high hopes. However the dishes we had were very tasty. Not a spicy as we would like, but they do not do it spicy in France. However all very tasty and we found well cooked. Garlic naan was very good. And proper onion bhajis, not the normal onion rings that tend to be served here. My only complaint would be, although with what we had we were stuffed as lunch time, is that despite having a vegetarian set meal there were no vegetable side dishes on the menu. However I am sure they would have been supplied if we had asked. Also good sauces came with the bhajis and naan. All in all very good lunch and for a good price with drinks for three. Very good service as well.
