I ordered the grilled Wels dinner, and I can h... read more We traveled from Tennessee to Brenham and spotted a sign for seafood on Hwy 290, which led us to this restaurant. I ordered the grilled Wels dinner, and I can honestly say it was some of the best fish I've ever had—perfectly cooked and incredibly delicious. Later, my mother and cousin drove down from Mississippi and Alabama to join us for lunch. They discovered a daily special that came with a cup of soup and dessert. Wow! The food was incredibly fresh, homemade, and bursting with flavor (definitely not from a can). Our server was absolutely delightful and charming! Plus, the prices were very reasonable. We've already been back, and this will definitely be a regular spot for us!

The shrimp fish were excellent! The bread was perfect as I love it. The salad was good, Broccoli was right, baked potatoes were not loaded, but were still good. We asked for coffee, the young man made it fresh, but it was like brown water. Anyway, except for coffee, I recommend this place! I wish I had found it before we left Brenham soon. Nothing imagination, but not loud, still a very good place to eat. I even brought some leftovers home that they eat for lunch!
