Very friendly staff and happy to have us take out dog in. Nice modern decor. Would definitely go again.

Didn't know where to go so we put in vegeta... read more I was on a trip to Germany with friends and family. We were on a roadtrip and ended up in Bremen around dinner time. Didn't know where to go so we put in vegetarian restaurant on our gps not expecting anything great. But it suggested Vegefarm which was only 2 minutes away from where we were so we decided to try it out. And damn that was a good decision! The food was soooo good. Probably one of the best veggie meals I've ever had. Service was nice and you could tell it was a family run place. Will definitely be visiting this restaurant again if I end up in Bremen.

Inside it gets... read more I went with two friends to Vegefarm on a Sunday night. We arrived shortly after 6pm and we still got a table an hour later all tables were taken. Inside it gets rather loud once all seats are taken and people talk. They have a nice terrace and I can imagine it to be very nice in summer. Vegefarm offers a variety of typical Asian dishes but the meat and fish is always a vegan version of the mean or fish. The food was tasty, maybe a bit pricy, but I thought it was completely fine. I personally hoped that you could find also dishes which would be vegan without having "fake "meat or fish on it, but there weren 't. Service was very friendly and helpful. When asked he gave an excellent dish recommendation and did not pressure us on our decision. We ordered two starters and three main dishes and asked that they would came all at the same time which they didn 't. One main dish and a starter came first, after some time another main dish and a starter, and the last main dish came about 10 min later. I thought that this was a pity.

An abundant choice of dishes, indicated as lamb or fish or chicken, pork and what have you. These mock animal preparations, indeed the name Vegefarm is thus appropriate, are, I guess, from a canned source. These Asian canned mocks have a very special taste and, frankly speaking, I do not like that taste. I would advise the chef to completely change the menu, reduce the number of dishes and to use tofu specialities, dried soy products, fermented protein products such as tempe, that can be served freshly deep fried or wocked. The results will be far better than the present old school dishes. Nevertheless, it is a pleasant restaurant and do not hesitate to take the nice starters, soups and the noodle and rice dishes.
