I visited the Overseas Museum in Bremen for the first time in November by advertising on the Africa exhibition. It was definitely interesting and instructive to discover everything there was. I was a bit disappointed, especially from the Africa exhibition, because I wanted more information and exhibits. All in all, the visit has not been rewarded for me. View all feedback.
A great day in the museum for the children and also for adults definitely very interesting. In the exhibition rooms, exhibits can be found on different subject areas, such as religions in the world (with Tibetan songs from the band), Bollywood or Skult. The collection contains meticulously labeled and catalogued objects, showcases around showcases. This is really fascinating and exciting. The Overseas Museum next to Bremer Train Station is definitely worth a visit.

The Überseemuseum in Bremen is located twice. I was written to see if I couldn't put my pictures on the other location, which I did. Now the other location is the partner location of golocal, and there is now only my ticket in it, reduced, for 4.50 €. At the checkout I had two questions, may I photograph and could give my iPhone a socket to recover. Both were positively answered, even today a very nice lady at the checkout. I was there many years ago, there was a special exhibition about chocolate, and I had provided some exhibits at KABA to the museum. A KABA Barry Bear, KABA Comics, Can and Mug with KABA Branding on it. I was invited to the opening, but my wife had booked me a hot air balloon, and I found this invitation more important. Another time we celebrated a birthday party there. Then they got a question book and had to find puzzle pieces that were designed in the museum, we could eat in a separate room. Today I wanted to see the museum again, what news there is, museums live yes, and are changeable. On the ground floor I lacked the mammoth tree disc, which was always right at the entrance. The Asian houses and the figures were still where I suspected them. Many showcases with animals and landscapes complement the Asian image of the earth. But there were also news, showcases with current products, a city model of Shanghai, and then I went to the first floor. There I found old skeletons of Dinos and information on human development. And then further back the pane from the coastmammutbaum, 2333 years old, 5 to heavy, it is from California, approx. 200 km north of Los Angeles and a gift from a Bremer wood dealer. Next we went to the old merchant shop, the many sheet metal plates and old packaging. In a side room, raw coffee was roasted on a sample roaster, the man was from Eduscho, I am also from the coffee industry and the lady standing there also came from food monitoring. Somehow, we knew tens of people from the food manufacturing companies and had a nice conversation about the Bremer coffee tradition. Other rooms then showed office accounts of Bremer merchants. Other special exhibitions to the Weser and the harbour with interesting exhibits round off the museum. The museum is located directly at Bremer Central Station, and surely one hour is not enough to have seen everything, but rather spend an hour at the museum than spend an hour at the station, that is much better. At the entrance prices: permanent exhibition adults 6,50 € 4,50 € erm. Children and youth [6 17 years], pupils inside 2,50 € family card [1 2 adults with children up to 17 years] 13.50 € Reduced entrance get disabled, student inside, Wehr and civilian service staff, unemployed, pensioners inside and social assistance recipient inside with ID Year cards: Adults 22,00 €
This museum is really worth looking at many departments of different areas, so practically as well as for everyone something nature lover different cultures etc. expositions about animals, different religions, a lot of figures to admire, you walk through mehere flat and can also make great photos. the museum is right at the railway station when you go left at the railway station exit the funny thing is that a great sign indicates it!! you can look forward to finding it. :
The Overseas Museum is directly at the main station, so it is very easy to reach. It has several exhibitions and a few permanent exhibitions. You can always buy an admission ticket for the exhibition, or for the entire museum, also for permanent exhibitions. The prices are okay and the museum is well built.
