a real treat in the centre of bremen. A restaurant with a large and quiet garden where the hussle and bustle can be simply forgotten. The food is excellent, a good choice of meat and fish dishes with an Italian slant. The wines are predominantly...german but in my opinion surprisingly good. The sevice is professioan and friendly without being too pushy, and as mentioned earlier the garden dining experience is to die... View all feedback.
What Darren Butler doesn't like about Restaurant Villa:
we have booked our Chistmas dinner in villa and asked to select our menu choices some weeks. it didn't help. Apart from the risoto, I don't think someone had a great meal. Service staff were nice and friendly, but completely overrun with the work as. I guess was the kitchen. strange combinations, small portions, long waiting times, cold teller. all signs of a business owner who is in cash in seasonal trading. regardl... View all feedback.
This place is around the corner of the theatre and has a beautiful garden area. unfortunately this was the best part of the visit. the service was incredibly pretentious! the waiter said we should have made a reservation. only tables were occupied when we...considered and no reservation signs on any tables. after his return to the outside he managed to find us a table! all night the restaurant was not filled. it became obvious that they had not been booked out when a larger group arrived, for which tables were put together while waiting. the waiter offered gnocchi as one of the specials he explained in detail. When I asked what the gnocchi were made, I was told that this was an Italian restaurant and in italy all gnocchi consist of kartoffels. how do you fight with it? we had vitello tonnato (veal with tuna caper sauce). it was decent. that was decent. my kartoffel gnocchi was ok, but not big, without the desired lightness. my friend ordered the pasta with chanterelles. After I had explained how they were prepared, my friend asked if they could add a little cream. Unfortunately, the waiter had not mentioned that this court would be treated in parmesan, which my friend does not like. so she returned the court and here the waiter lost all his graces, but at the end of a long wait he brought a newly prepared court without the parmesan. it was less than moderate, watery and not tasteful. I do not want to go into more details about this sad bad experience (and there was more) I would just like to point out that the title: beautiful garden pretentious service mediocre food wraps this place very well, it is a great place to hide from the hectic to the corner, provided they only want a glass wein or a cupcake and have no high expectations to eat. Hopefully this waiter moved to another person.
Excellent! we have spent a few very special date nights at this beautiful place in bremen and everything has always exceeded our expectations! the service is with a great touch-to-detail. the drinks (especially the villa basil smash) is a wonderful opportunity to start the evening. great wine selection too. when it comes to eating: I was in wonderful restaurants in crès and the kitchen here is the best thing I had in the city! they turn their menu monthly and the quality of the ingredients is excellent. if you are looking for a perfect place to enjoy a special, delicious and beautiful evening, the villa is the place to be!

Game consomme and wiener schnitzel appealed and were as expected. Tuesday night was very quiet. just a few more. nice service.
We had a nice meal with both starters tuna tartar/soup of fried potatoes) and mains (lamb/guinea fowl). The food was good but a bit uninspired with the mush of carrot/ginger tasting like a bit like babyfood and the skin of the fowl not crisp...at all. The lamb was excellent, the risotto good. The wine especially and the drinks overall seems a bit overpriced. Service was good and very friendly. We would go there again although thought food was better at küche bill seemed a bit high for what we had.
