This was our first visit to this restaurant. Food, drinks and atmosphere was all great and we enjoyed the service too. Great option if you want to escape the hustle and bustle of the Schlachte area. View all feedback.
What Roswitha Bayer doesn't like about Paulaner's im Wehrschloss:
immediately: only affects the beer garden. I will test the restaurant later personally. before the sun was under, we wanted to take a few more or more. in the beer garden is operating and self-service is not a problem. but then the drinks were offered to us in plastic cups. at least on hots from the barrel, it is not possible, the taste and the tingling were gone! the beer tastes beautiful. on the battle is also diff... They have a really great menu and it is for all! some dishes can also be ordered as a half part. they should note that if they choose because the dishes are very good. the service is top! very friendly and helpful. and all this is too moderate. I advise you to try!
Immediately: only affects the beer garden. I will test the restaurant later personally. before the sun was under, we wanted to take a few more or more. in the beer garden is operating and self-service is not a problem. but then the drinks were offered to us in plastic cups. at least on hots from the barrel, it is not possible, the taste and the tingling were gone! the beer tastes beautiful. on the battle is also different (same operator), on the terrace (with operation) also. on the test in the restaurant I am curious; my wife was there twice with her sisters shortly after the opening; both paint a pure fall, at every dish something was cold, sometimes the meat, sometimes one of the supplements. only initial problems?
Not bad but quite heavy meals. Nice environment and quick service but meat is not always at level especially for the difficulty to digest. Next time something lighter...
Overlooking the river, we had a very decent meal with our children. We were treated like it should be: polite, friendly. The restaurant has nice staff dressed in lederhosen and dirndels. Nice outsede garden with a view over the river. We were served excellent schnitzels with various vegetables all for reasonable prices. Free parking, and you can pay electronically.
Having walked several km from Bremen town centre, we settled at the Paulaner for a bite to eat and a decent beer. An hour and a half later, we left nice and relaxed and fully satisfied. Admittedly the weather was great, and being on the banks of the Weser, there was a nice atmosphere. Service and food were good too a nice meat and cheese platter at €11 each, that was enough for four people despite being advertised just for two! Great mix of meats as well as pickled veg and cheese. Other people's salads and mains looked lovely. And though the place was busy, being that bit out of town meant there wasn't a queue for a table. Recommended!
