Dinner in the restaurant was excel... read more An older hotel in a great harbor location. The staff was very friendly, and the food at the breakfast buffet was also decent. Dinner in the restaurant was excellent. Unfortunately, the rooms themselves are a bit older, and the furnishings also seem quite worn. Parking is available in the hotel courtyard. All in all, a thoroughly satisfactory stay.

A historic building, a great location right on the Weser River by the ferry dock, and a restaurant... read more We booked the hotel because of a nearby event (at the KITO). A historic building, a great location right on the Weser River by the ferry dock, and a restaurant right outside. The hotel's restaurant was unfortunately closed that evening because a 60th birthday party was taking place. We were informed about the birthday when checking in and were told that we wouldn't hear anything from the second floor. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case. It was loud until about 1 a.m. We wished we'd known about the birthday beforehand, for example, when booking, then we would have simply chosen a different hotel. Otherwise: The marked hotel parking lot was unpleasantly littered, the hotel was worn, with stained carpets, broken sinks, and so on. No elevator. Very narrow, with sloping ceilings, and things lying around everywhere, etc. The staff was very friendly, the beds were good, but we didn't think it was a good value for money, and we would have preferred to have breakfast elsewhere. We wouldn't book the hotel again.
