Wonderful Christmas dinner with goose, red cabbage, Brussels sprouts, dumplings, and potatoes. Delicious soup and a good selection of desserts. Very friendly and efficient service. I'd gladly come again.

We've been visiting the Eichengrund restaurant for several years now – and every time we've felt completely at ease. The food is consistently excellent and lovingly prepared according to the season. You can tell how much emphasis is placed on quality and fresh preparation. The service is also impressive year after year: attentive, friendly, and pleasantly unobtrusive. We'd especially like to highlight the cozy, festive atmosphere, which is perfect for the Christmas season and makes each of our get-togethers special. For us, the Eichengrund has been a reliable choice for wonderful evenings together for years – absolutely deserving of 5 out of 5 stars. Brigitte Marion

Our Christmas party took place there yesterday, and we had a lovely evening with delicious food and bowling. And yes, it's an older clubhouse that's showing its age, but it's lovingly decorated for Christmas, and the staff is friendly.

Christmas party of the German Convenience Food Association: Oversalted pea soup (I think) garnished with inedible salmon; stringy goose leg, apparently kept warm for hours, with unseasoned red cabbage from a jar, dumplings from a packet, and equally unappetizing sauce. For dessert, the three kinds of mousse from Lidl (lemon, chocolate, and white chocolate). That was below even a housewife's standard.

I was there with a big group (about 12 people) to go bowling and what can I say: it was great fun! The store looks as if it was left standing 40 or 50 years ago but that's exactly what gives it this really cool, nostalgic charm. Reminded me straight away, like something from my childhood. The bowling alleys are going well, and the small booths behind them are also great for chatting and taking a break. Service was really top – super friendly, quick, everything without much stress. The food was delicious, nothing fancy, but just right for the evening. Drinks came quickly, prices were absolutely right. So: If you're up for an uncomplicated, fun evening of bowling definitely recommended. We'll definitely be back!
