Edelweiss - Bremen

Looked good in general and fell like going after reading reviews. Service was fast and good with friendly waiters. I asked for the Bauernbrat’l “Tante Wally“, but was disappointing. The food was just reheated, hard and chewy and dry. The sauce made up somewhat for it, but not a lot. The Knödel was also obviously reheated, although would have been good if fresh. The Red Cabbage was good and the bread was also not fresh enough to justify placing it on the table (at least offer it slightly toasted). All in all, disappointing and missing on the potential.

We were looking for some cozy food and found in Edelweiss. We came in and felt comfortable and welcome. The staff super nice and the food nega delicious. If we are back as hamburgers in the forbidden city, we will eat Bavarian in all cases, in the Edelweiss

I love this place. I stopped a few times without reservation. not the smartest thing to do especially for christmas.

Great food and service. very friendly. reservation recommended as we saw that several parties turn away as they were fully booked.

The food was good as the drinks! the outside seats for a nice publikum to watch spot. it is conveniently opposite the main train.
