Not all pasta is created equal, and that was obvious from the first bite. The service didn't exactly convey a welcoming feeling at first, but maybe it just wasn't her day

Friendly st... read more Yeah... expectations were rather high based on the reviews. Unfortunately, they weren 't met. The restaurant is small, but not too loud. Very clean. Friendly staff. The food was the sticking point. We ordered pasta with chicken (which was okay , a regular calzone (which was okay , and a vegetarian calzone (which wasn 't on the menu – it was a complete disaster. It wasn 't hot, the vegetables were cold, and we had to send it back once only to be served lukewarm again – it didn 't taste good either! Lesson learned for the kitchen: We simply won 't offer it again! Additional points: We overheard someone at the next table saying they were out of dough and therefore couldn 't order pizza – so we left. The card reader couldn 't read credit cards. We were only asked if we enjoyed our meal at the very end – no contact whatsoever. For an Italian restaurant, it was rather average. We certainly didn 't have a 4.7-star experience.
