We used to eat here quite regularly, but after our last experience, I don't know that we'll be back, which i hate because the service and food has always been great. I understand it's a bar, and has live music, but the sound should not be turned up so high that 1. You can't even hear the song being played, and 2. You can't hear the person next to you speak including your server! Also the owners significant other gets absolutely wasted and then walked around and visited all the tables including ours like a pest. At one point he tried to have his drinks put on our tab! We sat down at around 7:30pm. There were lots of families with children eating that night and many of the tables seemed just as annoyed as we were. This went on the entire time we were there. We couldn't wait to leave because it made us so uncomfortable, waiting for a fight to break out or something. He should not be allowed in there if he can't control how much he drinks, it's just bad for business all around! I don't want some babbling drunk drooling all over my table with my kids there while we're trying to have a nice dinner! It COMPLETELY RUINED OUR DINNER!!!
Hi! Just saying my bday weekend we decided to drive to Breman to check out the pub. Beautiful atmosphere however seriously our dining experience was below average. The bartender was more worried about her friends at the end of the bar and looking at a phone. I'm in the industry to so is my husband. Maybe she wasn't trained right? Or she was new? I would never give free range to someone I didn't trust to run my bar properly. If I go out and leave a 20% tip- it's bc your service sucked- we didn't even leave that. Heard some one say her name was possibly Cloe? Not sure however I get it when your busy your spread thin- bar died off as soon as we got there- no excuse. I was waiting for her to check on us after getting our meals(. Was amazing quality btw) and we were literally done before she came back around. I bartend- I understand however I communicate w my clients and do not serve my friends first or nor I chatter w my friends when I have clients to take care of. The dining experience a 10 the service a 2. Sorry however when you're at work you work- bartenders get paid shit- you earn your keep- she didn't at all. Never do we leave low tips. Tonight we did. I feel guilty for posting this I had to. Going back? Yes. Just sit at the bar when she's working! Terrible service.not*
We didn't get the chance to try the food as we had hoped, but I wanted to share an honest review of our experience. We arrived around 6:15 PM and the hostess asked for our phone number. Then we were instructed to wait in our car, which was parked down the street, until we could be seated. After waiting for about half an hour, we decided to drive home instead. We would have preferred to wait inside the restaurant with a drink while we awaited a bar seat. The business model seems to suggest that guests should wait in their cars, but there was no option to remove ourselves from the waiting list, and we received no estimated time for when we might be seated. While it's great to see that the restaurant is busy, their system just doesn't seem equipped to handle the demand. So, if you're okay with sitting in your car for an indefinite time on a Friday night, then this might be the place for you.
The staff was friendly and attentive, creating a welcoming environment. The restaurant has a nice open layout and a comfortable atmosphere, though it could benefit from a few more decorations or wall art. The food was decent, but the cheese curds were overcooked and overly crispy, as were the wings. I didn't try anything else, but I wouldn't order the wings again. Overall, it's worth giving the place another shot because of the great staff and pleasant ambiance. The average cost per person is around $20–30.
The atmosphere here is wonderfully friendly! They also honor Veterans and active military, which is a nice touch. I highly recommend this place. Price per person: $10–20. Food: 5. Service: 5. Atmosphere: 5. Be sure to try the Patty Melt!
