What ELGPNX doesn't like about The Old Bell:
Nice pub good service shame about the food. Poor quality overcooked food. Really disappointed with the menu and the food wasn't nice at all... even the chips were horrible. Will not be returning. View all feedback. What Ann H likes about The Old Bell:
This was very near to our holiday apartment for the week so decided to have dinner here one night. There is a large marquee on part of the car park to make the most of current guidelines. The remainder of the parking was full so we had to park on the street. We were sat in the marquee and waited a little time for someone to come and serve us. read moreNestled in a quaint locale, this pub presents a mixed bag of experiences. While many patrons praise the friendly staff and cozy atmosphere, food quality often falls short. Menu offerings range from pleasantly received fish and chips to underwhelming dishes better suited for a lunch crowd than a dinner setting. Despite reasonable prices, diners express disappointment at portion sizes and overall value. However, takeaway options have garnered accolades, suggesting a possible silver lining. With a dog-friendly environment and occasional live music, this pub may charm some visitors, but many left feeling unsatisfied and unlikely to return.
Excellent Pub in Stow would definitely recommend! Would be worth booking as was very busy! Staff very friendly and food was excellent!
