Was Anonym at Jacks a mag?
I have dined at Jack's several times and always had excellent experiences. The food is amazing and the portions are huge, providing great value for money. The loaded fries are a must-try, but be warned they are massive if ordered as a side. The service is fantastic and the staff are very friendly, making it a top choice for dining out. What masterm82 dislikes about Jacks:
Ordered brisket burrito, ‘Mexican chicken’ chimichanga, skin on Fries, onion rings and mac n’ cheese bites. The beef was dry and needed sauce, the burrito was mostly bulked out with plain rice, basic salad and that’s about it! A very dry and very average burrito. Great, veggie / vegan Mexican cuisine in a city very short to eat meat for free. the employees are friendly and helpful, especially they understand the needs of plant-based customers. eating is tasty, freshly prepared and steaming hot. the vegan dirty sweet potato fryers are particularly brilliant. they also have standard coffee tea, tea, coffee, hot chocolate etc. the opening times are limited, but if they need a bit for a Friday (eve), Saturday, Sunday (eve), they are happy.

Had takeaway from Jacks last night and it was fabulous! What a little gem! . Burritos, nachos, jalapeño poppers, soft shell tacos, chicarrones, all excellent! Must recommend that everyone supports this little local business

My group of eight celebrated a special lunch at this restaurant. We had to change our booking time, which was no problem at all. The staff were welcoming and friendly, especially one man who was very attentive - I think he may have been the owner. Our dishes were delicious, and two of us ordered steaks which were cooked perfectly to our liking. We will definitely be coming back!
