Spencer's Steaks Spirits - BRECKENRIDGE

Sever forgot several things. When we asked for extra sauce for our steaks that where undercooked. Then they had undercooked someones meal behind them and they bit into it once and sent it back and it came back and they still didnt eat it or want it. The manager then argued with the man about why he couldnt take the plate of the bill. The man proceeded to act like a child and start yelling and smashing his table in frustration. Other than the poor steaks that were 42$ and the fact we had to survive off of one cup of water that was warm the whole time not once did we get a refill. Maybe they just need trained in serving and serving people.

Made a reservation for 8pm. Sat down and had water. Spoke to server once and he never came back. I had to go back and get my own pitcher of water twice and fill everyone’s glass. Then when the food came out, only half the party got their food and the other three didn’t get their meal and they finished before we got ours. I asked to speak to the manager and he went to find out what happened and never came back to check on us. Not even asked if everything was ok. There was zero accommodation made or effort in attempt to correct the situation. The seasoning for the steaks was lacking and the “family size portions” were not adequate. I would not recommend going to this “steakhouse” for steak.

Extremely slow service, food was either overcooked or undercooked. Staff was not at all accommodating.

We sat at the bar Ryan will take care of you! said the host. The bar area was clearly understaffed and the bartendar overworked. He kept muttering complaints under his breath and cursed at the waitstaff and hated his job so much that we actually felt sorry for him. Diners would leave their table and place orders directly with him; however, we were sitting at the bar and he would not even look at us. We were hoping for some wine and a cocktail and perhaps some food, but after 30 minutes of grossly ignoring us, we left and got a sandwich someplace else. I really hope that it wasn 't because we were the only people of color at the bar. But there wasn 't even the mildest hint of acknowledgement of our presence.

David was such a nice and entertaining server. He showed up at the perfect cadence and provided good conversation while still respecting our time. I would definitely recommend him and this restaurant!
