What Val Gillas doesn't like about Mimo Fancy Tapas:
If you're mainly interested in the food, you might want to skip this place. I ordered the beer-battered langoustine, which were overcooked, but the aioli was fantastic. I also tried the Pisto Manchego, which was supposed to include roasted tomatoes, zucchini, and other vegetables, but there were no tomatoes and everything seemed to be steamed rather than roasted. It felt more like a bland vegetable medley you’d find... View all feedback.
The food and atmosphere were both fantastic. I really loved the 3 tapas we shared, and the vibe was really good. The only reason it’s not a 5 is the service experience was strange. We finished our meal and when we declined dessert, our server literally never came back. We sat around waiting for about 15-20 minutes assuming they would be coming back with the check but they were never seen again (there was only one other table there as well and the place isn’t big so I’m not sure what happened). I had to go down to the person working the bar and ask for the check, at which point he was very kind and we were finally able to pay and leave. I’m assuming our experience was a rare occurrence, but it was strange nonetheless.

This is a fantastic restaurant with delicious food that I highly recommend! Food: 5/5, Service: 5/5, Atmosphere: 5/5.
The bartender and host were incredibly attentive! The standout drink is definitely the Cheese Cake Martini. I would rate it a perfect 10 out of 10!
