Higgles Ice Cream - BRECKENRIDGE

My husband (a non-vegan) and I made a spontaneous stop at this restaurant after having lunch and hiking in downtown Breckenridge. I was happy to see on Happy Cow that there were vegan options available, and the sign at the front confirmed there were 2 more! I had read that the vegan versions were coconut-based, and the dragon fruit and strawberry creations I tried were absolutely delicious and creamy. The meal was a bit pricey, but in my opinion, it was worth it. I also appreciated that the cups were certified compostable and the spoons were made of wood, making this zero waste vegan very happy!

The restaurant offered 4 vegan options, and I appreciated the option to purchase a smaller portion. The food was delicious.

The restaurant had a very long line and only offered one vegan flavor, which was matcha and contained caffeine. This may not be suitable for children, but okay for adults. I regret not knowing beforehand, as I would have skipped the line.

The line was extremely long and the only option available was a vegan taste, which happened to be Matcha with caffeine. Not great for kids, but could be enjoyable for adults. I regret not knowing to avoid the line.
