On a multigenerational family ski trip including a vegan, two vegetarians, visitors from Canada and Denver locals. Great selection with something for everyone. I had the Little Chief Hash Bowl and the Mushroom toast- wow!!! We were all licking our plates. Portions are perfect we left full but not weighed down. Our server, Manny, was friendly and full of suggestions. Will definitely come again. View all feedback.
What Alva Franecki doesn't like about Doma 1898:
best 3 averages. 3.5 for food, 2 for coffee. we were the second table after opening (about 8:10 clock,) so it wasn't old coffee. I asked for a laugh with whiskey. was just served coffee that was pretty bad with bad whisky. the coffee without whisky was just as bad. omelet was an eipfane cake in the half folded with what looked like precooked speck and raw spinat. in the inner was perhaps warm but not hit. hash browns... They came here with 8 people and were very courteous and fast to establish a table for us. the menu is amazing and the service is great. the best place to eat in breckenridge, hands down!

Overall, I would give this restaurant a mixed review. The food earned a 3.5 out of 5, while the coffee unfortunately only rated a 2. We were among the first customers of the day, arriving around 8:10 AM, so the coffee should not have been old. I ordered a coffee with whiskey, but what I received was poor-quality coffee mixed with subpar whiskey. The regular coffee was just as disappointing. For my meal, the omelet was poorly executed; it was half-folded and contained what appeared to be pre-cooked bacon along with raw spinach. The inside was lukewarm rather than hot. On a positive note, the hash browns were decent, and the English muffin was standard fare. The children's pancake was acceptable, though nothing remarkable. The highlight of the meal was the butternut squash quesadilla, which was the best dish I tried. In the end, this breakfast cost more than our dinner the previous night at a nearby place called Canteen’s, and I really don’t think it was worth the price.
The food here is excellent quality and always fresh. The menu features a unique and delicious selection, making it a refreshing change from other places. The service is friendly and attentive. We definitely plan to return!
We really enjoyed our meal! They had a great selection of breakfast drinks. We’ve found our go-to brunch spot in Breckenridge.
