Was Shankar S at Crown a mag?
The food was excellent. The mushy peas with what my fish and chips are probably the best I have had and the fish itself was wonderfully fresh. The risotto and the artichoke soup are also highly recommended! View all feedback.

What Jack Richardson dislikes about Crown:
Nice place, friendly barman but 55 mins for a very standard burger that was served with a burnt bun. Not impressed. Price per person: £20–30 Food: 2 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 4 View all feedback.

I highly recommend this classic English old-world pub for its amazing food and great atmosphere. The price per person ranges from £40 to £50. The food, service, and atmosphere all receive a 5-star rating from me. I particularly recommend trying the Hamburger, Fish and Chips with Crushed Peas and Homemade Tartar Sauce, and the Sticky Toffee Pudding.

This restaurant is very cozy during the Christmas season, so we have made it a tradition to go there. The food is great, especially the juicy turkey, and the staff are friendly. The desserts are also very tasty. The price per person is £60-70.

Lovely team, nice bar though limited seating if you're only drinking. We visited for the weekend and the lad behind the bar recognised us and asked after our weekend plans which was nice. Very good food with some very nice touches. My chips were very slightly under, but not all of them. I have no idea how they make their peas and tartar sauce taste so good!
