When it comes to vegan dishes, nothing is more iconic than hummus (and its good friend falafel). These are mainstays on vegan restaurant menus and are a cost-effective way to cater to vegan customers. So, one would expect a restaurant named Hummus Bar to excel in their hummus offerings. Unfortunately, our experience at Hummus Bar did not meet our expectations. We ordered their vegan menu for two to try a variety of dishes. On the positive side, the portion sizes were very generous and could easily serve three people. The delivery was also fast and everything arrived warm. However, that is where the positives end. The food was lacking in balance in terms of taste, texture, and overall quality. The hummus was bland, the falafel was grainy, the chickpeas were unseasoned, and the fries were sticky and underwhelming. The bread was also unimpressive. Overall, the food was uninspired and did not meet our expectations for a restaurant specializing in hummus.

The hummus is delicious, with even better pita bread. There are many options to choose from, the prices are reasonable, and the staff is friendly.

I tried the hummus with vegetables (sour cabbage, carrots, cucumbers) and pita at the Pohoda Festival. I had higher expectations after trying the same dish in Budapest. Unfortunately, the hummus was not as creamy or flavorful as I had hoped - it mainly tasted like chickpeas. The combination of sour cabbage with it didn't appeal to me either. I hope they improve in the future.

I had hummus with sweet sour cabbage, carrots, gurken. and pita on the pohoda festival. I had expected more after I visited her in budapest. hummus is nothing special, not creamy, no special taste, only cherry. I can be home as well. mad cauliflower wasn't a favorite combo with him. I hope they'll be better.

When it comes to vegan dishes, nothing comes as iconic then hummus (and its good friend falafel one of the paramount dishes that also put non-vegan restaurants on the menu in any shape to make an easy, cost-effective way to serve vegan customers. it seems fair that one would expect a restaurant named after this most legendary dish to have their hummus game on another level. of course, based on the assessment that hummus bar does not meet our expectations. we ordered their vegan menu for 2 to enjoy a nice sample from their offer. on the plus side was the amount of food we got for the price we paid incredible and I will say that the menu 3, not 2 people easy to serve. also the delivery was super fast with everything that was beautiful and warm. but that's where the positive end I'm afraid. without going into much details and making this waaay too long, eating was very unbalanced in terms of taste, texture and overall quality, for example hummus tasted blunt, falafel had a granular consistency that just felt, cheeked barbs without seasonal, fries (in the middle eastern plate/menu were gummy and safe to store) Otherwise, I will look further towards something more eventful.
