When chef in a box first opened I was excited at the prospect of good take out food close by. I had a steak sandwich it was tender cooked right and reasonable. Tried another one noticed the price went up portion was smaller and steak was tuff. Thought well ill give them the benefit of the doubt and tried another one today. Absolutely worse steak sandwich I've ever had, not to mention another price increase. So tough I couldn't bite without the whole sandwich pulling from the bun and not just in one spot but the whole steak was tough grizzly and chewy it lacked flavour and hardly any green pepper and onions. I wont go back. I don't understand how restaurants think they can start with a good product then cut corners and raise there prices Do they think we don't notice because we.

Then I... read more Not everything is great, but overall a good place. I've been here 4 or 5 times. The first two times I got the meatball sandwich and absolutely loved it. Then I got a cheeseburger and was pretty dissapointed with the taste and price. I still plan on going back and trying other things. If nothing else, the meatball sandwich is worth the trip!

First trip to Chef in a Box, I had the tur-duck-hen burger. Soft bun, Brie cheese and cranberry. Yummy!. The prices are very reasonable. They had a perch dinner special but it was burger night for me. I'm hooked. I talked to one customer who was there to pick up lobster Mac and cheese and he said he had tried almost the entire menu, nothing he didn't like. Go
