I walked into the restaurant and was greeted by a very friendly staff member who was exceptionally welcoming. Although I can't recall their name, it started with a 'd' and they were working at the front counter. Despite being busy, they were warm and engaged in conversation with me, which I thought was wonderful. I work at McDonald's and understand how hectic it can get, but they efficiently served my food, and I discovered a new favorite breakfast dish.
We arrived at Wendy's drive-thru at 8 o'clock today and waited for 30 minutes due to repeated delays caused by two individuals. The service was slow, with drinks barely being refilled and the wrong sandwiches being given to us (with a $2 price difference). It wasn't until we mentioned that our order was incorrect that they realized and corrected the mistake. The staff was also impolite. Additionally, we found a hair in our fries.
We had a very enjoyable visit to this restaurant. The waiter who took our order and processed our payment was very friendly. The only issue we encountered was that the fries could have been fresher, but overall the breakfast was consistently excellent.
This Wendy's location is the worst I have ever visited. I enjoy Wendy's food, but the management at this store is terrible. The wait times are always ridiculous. Many times, I have driven up, seen the long line, and decided to leave. I have been patient and waited, but multiple times I have waited over 30 minutes. The service is no better inside the restaurant. The Wendy's on highway 76 is much better and worth the drive. I hope the management at this location can figure something out and improve the service.
