Such a beautiful place, the service was solid, the atmosphere was amazing as always. The Monday breakfast buffet was reasonably priced, but just so-so on quality. Always worth a visit when in Branson, however. View all feedback.
What J W doesn't like about Chateau On The Lake Resort Convention Center:
Pros: nicely done chicken, potatoes, and bread pudding. Sweet server. Cons: soggy cauliflower. it was either microwaved or cooked from frozen? I saw a few tables just get up and leave because the service was so bad, and they waited an hour for their food. All the other tables next to us looked very annoyed and kept looking around for servers and their food. According to the long wait times in the hotel lobby and the... View all feedback.
What a great experience. We were looking for a quiet weekend getaway and had our expectations exceeded. The only portion that was not excellent was the food at the cafe, which was still pretty good, but expected better for the price. The hotel was very clean. The employees were all polite, professional, and greeted us with a smile. Having a restaurant and a separate bar inside the hotel is a nice plus.
People need to know that this hotel is old, has mold issues and massively in need of updating and maintenance. We were shown about 7 rooms, all had mold, broken slider windows, rooms had fake plants full of dust and were pretty dirty. All rooms smelled of must and mold. Pillows and beds are super old. I?m sure this was a great place at one time but not now. We were able to check out and booked a brand new room at the Hilton. Thank goodness they had rooms last minute. I have to say Karen was a huge factor in our happiness for the evening. She runs the front desk and kept our bad experience deescalated and was very professional with us at all times. It has to be hard to deal with a hotel this run down. She is an asset for the hotel and because of her, we left feeling well taken care of with all her kind effort. Seriously though, if your going to spend time with your family on the lake, this is a horrible experience here. I would recommend waiting till they remodel, if they ever do.
Had a lovely meal in the Atrium Cafe last evening. Our server, David, was friendly, efficient, and accommodating. Food was delicious and the atmosphere by the inside waterfall was delightful! The hotel is extraordinary and everyone has been friendly and professional. Saw a stunning sunset over the lake from the terrace and caught glimpses of the sunrise from our suite. Clean, comfortable, this resort is top notch! Highly recommend! Will come back!
We reserved a room for the annual army ball, and not only was the event well staffed and perfectly executed, but also during our overnight stay the service was exceptional! The staff was friendly and extremely helpful, Janet went above and beyond to make our stay wonderful! Our room was very comfortable and perfectly clean. The view could not be better, and the food was delicious. I will recommend this place every time, and I cannot wait to come back! ??????????
Beautiful hotel, very upscale, expensive for the average family We ate at the Chateau Cafe, only. Son and I had catfish dinner. Very good. Wife had soup which was very good, just not a large portion. She anticipated going to the on-site bakery for cheesecake, but they were out. The Cafe had plain cheesecake which they offered to bring out. It was $9 for a thin slice. Good, yes. Worth it, maybe not. Still a spectacular view of Tablerock Lake. It's fun just to drive up to see the view and (when supplied) try the bakery.
