Was Delnita Hazell at Bradford Eatery a mag?
We staying at The Bradford when traveling to Branson. So nice, quiet and beautiful. Bonus is the coffee shop/restaurant “Smoky Joes” that is there! So awesome! Will continue to go back! View all feedback.
What Julie P dislikes about Bradford Eatery:
I visited the restaurant with my mom and son for breakfast around 9:30 on a Sunday. Upon arrival, we found no one available to seat us, so my mom eventually located an employee behind the kitchen counter. They informed us that we could only dine there if we were guests at the Inn and that breakfast service had already ended. I've never encountered a place where breakfast ends before 10 AM, but my main concern is that... View all feedback.
We have stayed at the Bradford Inn many times and we keep coming back. We love the themed rooms and the location is fantastic. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We will be back again.Rooms: Rooms are always in good shape and comfortable. We stayed in room 14 on our past stay and the fireplace needs to be checked out. It turns on and generates heat, but does not glow. You are not aware it is on until it gets hot in the room. Otherwise our stay was very nice.Nearby activities: The location is right between Silver Dollar City and the strip in Branson. It never takes long to get to shows and other activities.
It was a nice and comfy stay as always! We stayed numerous times before the facility changed management. The updates were very nice!My only “complaint” which is more just commentary is that I don’t like paying a $35 cleaning fee. It should be a part of staying there- and we always leave things just as clean as when we arrive. Basic cleaning like changing the beds and replacing towels shouldn’t cost extra.Breakfast used to be included which it isn’t anymore.Still a place we enjoy staying! Very nice!
We did not stay at the Bradford Inn in Branson as we had never seen it before this trip but were driving by and the establishment caught our eye from the crisp whiteness of the building to the Steamy Joe restaurant we had to pull in. We went in and we had the most amazing breakfast, talked with the owner and the staff and had a wonderful time. Had to have a slice of their delicious strawberry pie as well. When we were leaving the owner brought us out delicious muffins after our visit. We would definitely recommend you stop in and give this establishment a try. It is well worth your time.
I want to preface this review by mentioning that we didn’t actually eat at the Eatery, so I can’t comment on that aspect. This was our second stay at Bradford Inn, and unfortunately, it will be our last. I had hoped to leave a positive review, but that’s not what I can provide. Here are the details: At its core, Bradford Inn feels more like a motel with a nice façade from the road rather than a genuine bed and breakfast. It lacks the warm, cozy, homey feel you would expect, along with the promise of a home-cooked breakfast. There are significant electrical issues that need immediate attention. Nearly all the electrical outlets are loose and can almost be pulled out of the wall when unplugging devices. This has been a problem for over two years, indicating a lack of maintenance. The beds are a serious health hazard. The corners of the beds protrude from the mattresses and are concealed under the bedspread. They are at just the right height to cause injury, and my wife ended up with bruises on both of her legs after hitting those corners. We’ve never encountered such an issue anywhere else we’ve stayed. As for breakfast, it’s pretty mundane, consisting of frozen and reheated biscuits, sausage, gravy, eggs (in various styles), and occasional waffles. While the coffee and orange juice are quite good, it would be nice to see more variety—perhaps bacon, oatmeal, or some fruit would be a welcome addition. Even budget hotels like Holiday Inn and Best Western offer better breakfast options. However, the most frustrating aspect of our stay was the noise. The building seems poorly constructed, and the owners or managers should prioritize maintaining a quiet environment. Initially, they made minimal attempts to address the issue until we discovered that the noise was actually coming from the family of one of the employees. When we spoke to them, we were told that they have four kids who essentially run wild during their time off from school. Despite our efforts to explain how disruptive the noise was—often to the point of causing headaches—it never diminished. While I understand that kids will be kids, the parents need to take responsibility for their behavior, just as they would in any apartment setting. As paying guests, we deserve some peace and quiet for the amount we’re charged each night. Regrettably, this wasn’t a restful vacation. While the coffee and orange juice were good, and the view of Branson is fantastic, these positives cannot outweigh the many issues at Bradford Inn, most of which could be easily addressed. It feels as if the owners are winding down their careers as bed and breakfast operators and are now providing minimal effort in managing the inn properly. In summary, this will be our last stay here, and we will seek another bed and breakfast for future visits to the area. I would also strongly advise caution to other guests, as the premises have potential safety hazards that could lead to injury or even more serious issues.
We stayed 4 nights at The Bradford this past week, each room has different decor and a jet tub as well as the option for a deck and fire place. Our room was classy, clean, comfortable and pretty. The WIFI was slow and kept disconnecting our stream, but we didn't come here to watch tv. The view was very pretty from the fire pit area and the community gazebo. Lots of summer green trees blocked the view from our patio but I am sure in fall it would be perfect. It's a delightful place that is private, clean, and quiet. We loved the 3 minute drive into town. Plenty of parking, you may have stairs, there is no elevator but it was only 1 stairwell for us. The staff is nice, plenty of communication by text/email/call. No physical check in or out, you do it on your phone, and it's simple. Taryn was very good to us, thank you! You must try the breakfast downstairs at Steamer Joe's wow! We will be back in the fall, and we will stay at The Bradford!
