I went to this restaurant for a birthday meal based on a recommendation from a friend. It's located in a beautiful village and was quite busy, which shows it's very popular. However, it would be nice to have a bit more space between tables to avoid feeling cramped. The staff were very friendly, and my meal, as well as those of my partner and one of my sons, were delicious, well-cooked, and very enjoyable. Unfortunate... View all feedback.
Great atmosphere, attentive staff that remembered my name, despite how busy it was (a first, and made a real difference) and best to eat tasty, served on massive teller that made it look like one of the chic restaurants that they don't feed next to anything, for lasting cash when in the did they give them a lot of food, for little money! a clever trick! it was great. we're coming back. Oh, if you go, and you should, I would recommend a booking. it can have to do. photos of steak and kidney cake, slowly boiled pig and a common panacotta. there is also one of our leberparfait with quittenstarter, but it was so delicious we just ate it.
We had a lovely meal at the Three Tuns last night. Having lived in the area and driven past the pub many times, we were surprised that we had never been there and were very glad we fixed that. The food was excellent: tasty, well presented and delivered in good time we both really enjoyed it. Two courses with drinks was around £55 which I felt was about right for the quality and service. Staff were helpful, polite and very pleasant. We’ll definitely be back for more. Thanks.
I LOVED it here. Super welcoming. Amazing vibes. Fantastic food that was exciting and cooked perfectly It is very dog friendly. I will definitely be back.
I came here for the first time in about 10 years as I live away from the area. All I can say is WOW!! The staff were amazing and the service was polite and quick. I enjoyed the Dorset snails and the ribeye which the chef cooked to perfection. Thank you I won't be leaving it so long to be back this time.
A busy local pub with friendly, professional staff. We were lucky to get a table in the bar area as the restaurant was fully booked. We had the curried vegetables, a (not so) small portion of mussels, and chips and market veg on the side. All the food was delicious, fresh (local) and well cooked. We had the panna cotta and meringue (both vegan) which were delicious, a real treat! We had cider from the orchard round the corner and the farmer (whose face was on the glass) was actually sitting at the bar!
