When I learned that Sugar Bakery had discontinued their coconut cake, I was heartbroken. I immediately set out to find a replacement and discovered Sweets on Main. When I contacted them, they were incredibly kind and accommodating, even saying, "We can make anything you’d like." Although I was hesitant about combining lemon curd with the coconut cake, they encouraged me to give it a try since it was one of their best sellers. I'm so glad I took their advice! This cake was the centerpiece of my wedding, and everyone was looking forward to an unforgettable treat. It certainly exceeded our expectations; the cake was absolutely amazing. It was such a hit that it disappeared quickly, leaving me without any slices to save for our anniversary. However, I will definitely be back for that cake, and I'm excited to try some of their other delicious offerings. Supporting this fantastic local business brings me joy, and they truly deserve a five-star rating!

I absolutely adored the cookies! I ordered around 45 cookies with a The Office theme for my sister's bachelorette party, and they were a huge hit! I also got DIY decorating kits to give as favors, which were well-received. I placed my order a bit late, but the shop was incredibly accommodating and managed to fit it in! They even included an extra mug cookie, which my sister found hilarious and loved. Not only did the cookies look fantastic, but they tasted amazing as well—truly, I couldn't have asked for anything better. Communication with the shop was wonderful; they were friendly and eager to accommodate my requests. I would definitely order from them again!

Sarah and Donna are a remarkable team. From day one of planning, they truly heard our vision and brought it to life. Everything was discussed via e-mail, but they made us feel like we were their only clients. We had a Couples Shower at a local brewery and ordered 6 mix/matched cupcakes and a one tier naked cake. They beautifully matched our color scheme and flavored our one tier cake with our favorite thing…. espresso. We expected great things, but we’re blown away with our dessert table. They even offered to add our fresh flowers to the cake upon delivery, which pulled it all together. Thank you again. See you at the next event!

We had heard of sweets on main recommended by other newly weds and we are so happy we went forward with the them as our something sweet and delicious! We went with a naked 3 tier cake with the raspberry compote, it was light refreshing and perfect way to feel like light with something sweet and spend the rest of the night to the dance floor! Our venue was lawn club in new haven, and the cake delivery was seamless. Scheduling the tasting and being there was an adorable date for us, and once we tried the combo for the delicious cake they helped us with making our vision come true!
