The charga chicken is obviously their speciality and they do a good job. Its not too spicy and comes with a platter of rice. But I have to say I liked the spicy malai kebab better. The lamb curry was average. Naan was good. Overall good for takeout or a quick sit in. Will definitely go back for more. View all feedback.

Their nihari and chargha were truly the best in Ontario. Since they bought out the rest of the plaza their food quality has gone down drastically. The chargha meat tastes old and has a very odd taste and smell to it while the nihari tastes clearly defrosted and the spices taste raw. I highly recommend trying the chicken chargah at Dawat-e-Khas restaurant. They prepare it live on charcoal, making it very healthy and delicious. We also tried the Lahori channa, which was flavorful and tasty, and the naans were excellent as well. The haleem we ordered was also really good. I suggest everyone go and try this restaurant!
The chicken charga over rice was incredibly tasty, as expected. The dining area was crowded, but our family of seven was seated at a spacious table.
The food and service at this restaurant are outstanding! I will definitely return and suggest it to friends and family. Everything on the menu is delicious, but my top picks are the chicken charga and afghani naan.
I ordered boneless chicken biryani today and I would give 1 rating to biryani and raita as it is very very salty and can’t even eat just dumped it in garbage. When I called store then owner said that’s how we make our biryani. Owner is very rude and careless I would never recommend this to anybody and never visit again. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
