Description

Nestled in Witham, Costa offers a mixed bag of experiences for its patrons. Some customers rave about the friendly staff, quick service, and delicious coffee, especially the dry cappuccino, highlighting the café's appeal on sunny days. However, others express frustration over consistently poor organization, slow service, and cleanliness issues. Complaints include long queues and dirty tables, with many feeling that the offerings, particularly gluten-free options, fall short. Despite these challenges, loyal customers appreciate the refreshing smoothies and the value found through the loyalty program, suggesting that Costa has the potential to improve and build on its strengths in this competitive environment.

I believe that Costa Witham serves an amazing dry cappuccino! I noticed which barista made my coffee and as I was finishing it, a staff member asked if everything was okay. I mentioned how delicious it was and think the staff deserves recognition for their excellent service!

The staff are truly lovely here. Through difficult times they have always smiled and taken the time to make you feel welcome with a few words. The place is kept nice and clean. I am not surprised this Costa is well visited. The outside space is nice to sit in on a sunny day. The coffee of course is delicious!

Today, I was excited to enjoy a cappuccino. I prefer my cappuccinos dry, so I requested one from the restaurant. Unfortunately, even after sending it back once, the second cup still did not meet my expectations. The coffee was weak and had only a small amount of froth on top. I took just one sip before deciding to leave it. I found it to be a waste of money, especially since I have had better cappuccinos at our local cafe, The Tearoom.
