Pragser Wildsee - BRAIES

Trovandoci al Lago di Braies abbiamo deciso di fermarci a pranzo in questo locale, accoglienza buona con personale gentile e cortese, unica pecca il bagno a pagamento euro) e la poca scelta del menù, cibo tipico trentino, prezzo in media con la zona, servizio veloce i piatti potrebbero migliorare sempre davvero molto turistico, del resto la collocazione lo fa essere un ristorante turistico.

È la seconda volta che pranziamo qui in visita al lago. Ristorante curato, unico sulle sponde del lago, con buon servizio ma un po' frettoloso). Il menù è abbastanza ridotto scelte x tipo di pietanza, alcune uguali a anni fa. Cibo nella media e prezzi sopra la media.

After a beautiful walk through the Braies Lake, totally full of snow, you can't miss to stop at this nice Restaurant. You can sit at the table and relax admiring an amazing view through the window glasses. The waiter was nice and polite. We had a long lunch waiting for us, even if they were closing, without rush. We appreciated the service, the great food and the relaxing atmosphere.

When we drove to Lago Di Braies, the road to the lake was blocked by police and we were forced to the parking a few km away. But, what a miracle, in case you want to drive straight to the lake, you just need to pay EUR 20/ per car which can be used as a credit in the Restaurant Pragser Wildsee. Although we already paid EUR 3/ for parking, we still went for this option to speed up our sightseeing. After sailing across Lago Di Braies we went to this restaurant which was packed, and took the last available table. The menu/choice is quite mediocre. Our deer vs polenta ratio was like, 15/85 respectively. Tagliatelle with mushrooms and bacon was alright. The prices are pretty high; the waiters are very busy and hence unresponsive. Parking is free for the first 60 minutes, and then charged at EUR 6/ for each following hour.

The Hotel Pragser Wildsee was a beautiful gem in the woods overlooking the magnificent Lago di Briaes. The room had a breathtaking view of the lake with a very comfortable bed and bath. The food was excellent and the service was top notch. The concierge and staff were very hospitable and helpful. I will definitely return in the future.
