So booked t... read more Dropped into this local restaurant in Braga I wanted some tradition Portuguese to share with some colleagues from Poland GermanLand England Hungary! So booked this place Well the food was just FANTASTIC! Just picked 3 items from the menu and we all shared (like a beef wellington – a mix of meats and a steak with fries plus 2 bottles of local red wine and some sparkling water and some BEIRAO to finish with  The food was superb! The service always friendly attentive and with a smile – We had a great farewell dinner – I paid the bill €145 with tip! For 7 people having dinner plus the wine etc.! Highly recommend this place Drop in it’s worth it.

I got a Francesinha really delicious traditional dish and let me just mention, it was massive. My dish was actually really nice, the steak was cooked to perfection and the sauce was beautiful. The rest of my family got Arroz de Marisco this is a seafood dish with rice...there were 2 prawns. Literally two prawns and that is it, in a huge bowl of rice. That was pretty disappointing but what was even more annoying, was the fact we actually told the waiter about this issue and he just shrugged and said Oh ok, I 'll let the chef know ... As you can see, very helpful right? The service did let them down, they weren 't very friendly to new customers in all honesty. I must say though, the Francesinha was delicious so if you plan on going to this restaurant, it 's a must try.
