The food was good but I can't be as lyrical about it as some reviews... read more We had a nice evening here. Atmosphere a bit posh. Staff was very friendly and forthcoming. The food was good but I can't be as lyrical about it as some reviews here. The aubergine lasagna starter was a bit bland and the octopus was not crusty like we had it a couple of days before. All in all good tastes though. But: huge portions, consider skipping the starter or sharing a main dish.

Portobello mushrooms followed by octopus and asparag... read more We arrived late with no booking at 9.30pm but met with a friendly welcome, efficient service and good food. Portobello mushrooms followed by octopus and asparagus risotto. All very good. Finished with a complementary glass of port. Head waiter and waitress were both great good advice and amazing English to cover for our terrible Portuguese.
