She was unwell that da... read more While I attempted to enjoy my meal in peace, a waitress hovered in front of me, making me feel like I had an uninvited guest at my table. She was unwell that day, and unfortunately, I ended up catching the flu and am still dealing with it, which has now progressed to bronchitis. I really wish she had stayed home instead. Additionally, when I went to wash my hands before eating, the restroom was so cramped that I had to leave the door open to use the sink. The same waitress walked in right after I returned to my seat, which was quite awkward. What was that all about? As for returning, I might, but I won’t hesitate to be direct with that waitress if she gets too close to me or my food again. The staff seemed friendly enough, but I just wanted a simple breakfast. This place might not be ideal if you're not fitting into their typical mold. For instance, I asked for half-caff coffee. They had regular and decaf, but I had to explain that half-caff is just half of each. It took a moment for the waitress to understand, but she eventually obliged. I ordered scrambled eggs, hash browns, and a half order of French toast, and the waitress noted that my meal wouldn’t include any meat. I explained that I don't eat meat, and that was fine with me. Meanwhile, when I walked in, a random guy at a table joked about me training to ride a Harley, which was amusing since I was on an electric scooter. If you're able-bodied, eat beef and pork, and drive a car, you should be fine here. Otherwise, you might feel out of place, especially with the attitudes of the regular customers. It definitely has an old-school vibe, which is ironic because I'm old-school myself, yet I didn’t feel like I belonged. It was as if I walked into a club where everyone could tell I wasn’t a member.
