Love it staff polite. Always accomodate my disabled mum and grandkids
We have been customers of Wilson's fish chip restaurant/takeaway for over 40 years....and everything was always good, but standards have started to slip, and today we visited at approximately 5.45pm to order our special fish with chips, they explained it will take around 15 mins to do 2 specials, which seemed strange, but we waited in the car... 12 minutes later my husband entered the shop waited to one side, the lady behind the counter asked if she could take his order ....so he confirmed that he'd already ordered paid for our 2 Special fish chips....She looked confused and said that she didn't know where my order was, but offered to put 2 more in, so he said is it going to take another 15 minutes, to which she replied no it will only take 4 minutes
Just left here and will be the last time we will come! Chips soggy and greasy, fryer rude whilst waiting for our special fish to cook, tried to use the loo to be told by the fryer I couldn’t very rudely. Been coming here since 1989 sorry lost me and hubby as a customer for ever now.
Fish and chips were very tasty and for a change the fish was nice and moist
Quality starting to drop massively used to be lovely nice size portions now it's really small portions and the chips are just awful and full of black bits between 3 chips this all the bad ones we had to dispose of
