fish n worst chips I've had for years. we asked for a special squid and chips. the special was £4.99 only for the fish, so we expected a large piece of fish. they kicked it there and then we also expected it to be beautiful. it wasn't. the fish was not larger than a normal fish share. the paper was covered with fat. the teig was soggy, and had mostly escaped from the fish that was very dry. the chips tasted good, but... I've been a fan of fishing and chips for two decades when I was a child, we would have fish and chips from a local chippy and they were delicious, but since we were more and more access to Takeaway food over the years I found standards fall and fish and chips were never the same as the ones I had as a child, but I have now been talking thanks to websters again. they were also polite and made my fish and chips in vegetable oil, but without compromise on taste!
Really nice fish and chips and the best tweeper rings I've ever had!
The disappointment is beautiful, my only complaining is the break. it is too wet / greasy, and as result seems to always stick on the paper, it is wrapped. opening hours are good all week
