The stunning ambiance and diverse lunch menu with options for two courses (starter and main or dessert) along with a drink and coffee comes to around £40 per person including gratuity. The delicious choices included superb soup, meat dishes, and salmon. The desserts, recommended by my colleagues, were also fantastic. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about The Roebuck:
There has been a recent change in ownership at The Roebuck, and it is no longer a sizzling pub. Prices have increased significantly, and the service on August 18th was poor. We waited 30 minutes for one dessert that was included in a special offer of buying 2 grills and getting a bottle of wine at half price. Pub turned to food facility. good value for money, many cost-effective offers. a visit is worth when they are in the opposite and eat a bite. I recomend the steak with jack daniels source. hmmm yummy.
Lasagne was lovely, mixed grill was very good and the pie of the day went down well! Really good after noon here!
Basic locals pub. Friendly enough. Good range of Timothy Taylors but not especially well kept. Didn't eat here so can't comment on the food.
When we called last Monday the bingo was on which made it impossible to have our usual group conversation. Also the Black Sheep didn't taste quite as nice as it usually does. Looks like we will have to find a pub that better accomodates our needs.
Used to be alright but stood waiting to be served at an empty bar I was walked passed 5 times between 2 members of staff. While still waiting a local asked for a pint and was served straight away while I was still stood there being ignored so we ended up walking out
