The Lister's Arms - Bradford

I wasn't expecting Michelin-starred food at a Wetherspoons, but this experience was terrible. My wife and I were the only ones eating out of 6 people in the big pub. Both of our meals were dry and cold, with most of it being inedible and disgusting. The waitress never asked about our full plates when she took them away, showing complete disinterest and zero customer service. No one deserves to be served such poor quality food. I will be sending this same review to head office.

The bar and wait staff were outstanding, the food was served hot, and we were even checked on by a staff member to see if everything was satisfactory. I was so impressed that I asked to speak to the manager to commend the excellent service.

We visit this restaurant frequently with our clients who have learning disabilities. The staff are incredibly helpful and always make us feel welcomed. The food is consistently delicious as well.

The restaurant was very busy, and the waitress mentioned that they were short-staffed. Despite this, our orders were taken promptly and our food was served quickly. However, in the midst of our meal, the fire alarm suddenly went off. At first, we hesitated to evacuate as we were unsure if it was a drill, but soon we were instructed to leave the building swiftly. Fortunately, it wasn't raining so we were only out for a few minutes before we could return to finish our meal. The staff had to deal with the added pressure of replacing some dishes that had gone cold during the evacuation. It was frustrating to hear customers complaining about having their meals replaced, as the situation was out of the staff's control. They deserved more respect for handling the unexpected emergency with professionalism.

This pub, located near the city center, is clean and well-kept. I ordered a chicken burger with fries and a drink, and my meal was deliciously cooked and promptly served. The staff were polite and efficient in taking my order. Overall, I was very impressed. Great job!
